students workingThe Children's School of Art and Science strives to achieve a school family that reflects diversity in its cultural and ethnic origins as well as in economic means. We recognize that education has a responsibility to give students exposure to life experiences different from their own. We also recognize the importance of education to all children in our community and the value of building ties of shared experience. The school therefore offers financial assistance to families who qualify, within the limits of the school's means.

The school uses an online system (through the National Association of Independent Schools) for making equitable decisions based on the financial needs of our families. Everyone is eligible to apply for aid, and award decisions will be made on the basis of relative family income and net worth. To access the online system, visit the NAIS website.

We ask families to our yearly giving campaign, according to their means; parent gifts average $1000. These funds are used to keep tuition low and further develop our program.
